MHFS Vision and Values
Hotham Free Ski’s vision is to offer all members a positive skiing culture and a caring generous community experience. Our aim is for families to develop mountain friendships for life as we share our passion for freestyle skiing thru development training camps and programs.
We support this philosophy by upholding our core club values for every child and family member and the public at large. The entire club community offers:
- To inspire, network, and collectively support our future young Aussie athletes skiing goals to be able to dream big and achieve individual and team success
- To work together as a whole community to be able to offer family social events and have opportunities to be involved in voluntary club developments
- Building self-confidence, sportsmanship and the self-esteem of all athletes
- Instilling a life-long passion for winter sports and an active lifestyle
- Aspiring to the highest level of coaching quality and standards
- Assisting and developing each individual member to further their skiing skills within a safe and happy environment
- Working towards creating the life skills for athletes to hold for life
- Encouraging athletes of all ages to grow with their sport, learning how to win, how to lose and most importantly how to give their best
- To mentor and support the process of building happy healthy competitive National and Olympic champions if so desired
