The All Winter Free Ski Program is designed for the young aspiring skier who wants to learn and further develop their love of skiing in the Free Ski disciplines.
In developing a well balanced, advanced set of skiing skills while being individually creative on snow, enabling them to become a more confident and talented skier who is able to ski competently world wide.
To further their competitive edge for sporting competitions and to develop a consistent pipeline training program and environment for the World Cup and Winter Olympics if so desired.
The All Winter Program involves:
Developing and improving the individual’s skiing ability through skiing the all mountain terrain with like minded young skiers ( groups determined by age and skill levels).
Training in all facets of Free Ski and Freestyle skiing including:
Learning and developing tactical competition training & skills.
MHFS participants have priority on lifts & on the purpose built permanent mogul courses and jump sites and are invited to compete in MHFS competitions:
Learn important life skills:
Respect for themselves and others, to remain focused, to overcome obstacles, to be a decisive decision maker, learning sportsmanship, competitiveness whilst being a team player, and having loads of fun in a safe environment with highly skilled and trained coaches.
All athletes are eligible for the Free Ski Development Pipeline Program.
Individual Skier Assessment is required for all club entry levels.
Participants will be grouped divided by age and the varying skiing abilities ranging from: Intermediate to advanced skier being able to ski all terrain competently.
A valid lift ticket is required to participate in the program.
Helmets and back braces are mandatory.
All participants will require well-maintained Alpine ski equipment and preferably with different skis for each Free Ski discipline.
Athletes are shown individual video analysis.
All athletes are eligible for club competition days.
Check in time 8.15am and program starts at 8.30am to 3.15pm.
Please arrive no later than 8.30am to avoid disappointment.
Coach to athlete ratio 1 : 8.
Participants within this program are eligible for Dryland training.
**Payment to be received prior to athlete participating in program.
